I’ve been blogging about books for quite a few years now, but have been hiding it because of the personal nature of most of the other content. But now I’m stepping out of the closet and letting the world know: I read too many books. It’s helpful but not strictly necessary for my job managing a branch of The New York Public Library. I work with adults and young adults, but most of my reading is of the young adult variety these days. I am thinking that will be all that I review here.

I live in Brooklyn with my husband and a few thousand books.

Some of my favorite YA books of all time: Tamar, The Book Thief, Fat Kid Rules the World, Freak Show, How I Live Now, Kiki Strike, and yes, Gossip Girl.

Whenever I fly I tend to dress this way to make the day seem easier. I was not flying on this day, but I am the day I'm posting this after being twice delayed so I need the luck!
